These release notes summarize software changes made during the Kigo update release on September 16, 2015.
New Home Page Based on Roles
The Home page includes new features. At the top of the screen you can see a Welcome message with your name and any system messages. To the right of the page is a corporate news feed that includes important notices, system information, and other news. (InstaManager clients will continue to see the corporate news feed on the left side of the page.) In the middle of the page there are two sections:
Tools & actions: Provides links to Kigo pages that you may find useful based on your role.
Kigo app store: Provides a link to the Kigo app store, where you can select Kigo value-added services, third-party services, and Kigo professional services for your solution. This section is available only if you have the General Manager role.
(Kigo Revenue Management) Clients Can Switch the Property on the Property Detail Page
Some clients couldn't switch to a different property on the Property detail page in Kigo Revenue Management. Choosing another property from the drop-down list on the Property detail page now displays the selected property.
(Kigo Web Sites) Regions Only Included in Location Field When They are Enabled
The Location field in the Search feature on Kigo web sites was including region options when they were not enabled. The Location field in the Kigo web sites Search feature now only includes regions when they are enabled.
(HomeAway) Credit Card Details Saved for Bookings
For some clients, the credit card details were not being saved for bookings made with the HomeAway API distribution. This issue has been resolved.
InstaManager Solutions Supported in Kigo View (NewApp)
InstaManager clients can now view their solution configuration in both the InstaManager view (app.kigo.net) and the Kigo view (newapp.kigo.net).
