About the Widgets Page

The Widgets page lets you add content and features to your web sites using widgets. Widgets provide a simple way to customize your web site. You control which widgets you include on your web site as well as where the widgets appear on the page. Some of the widgets have options allowing further customization, such as adding information or images.

Note: If you have the Kigo discovery theme selected, your Widgets page is much different from the one described in this article. See the Widgets (Kigo Discovery Theme) article for additional information.

Widgets Page

The left side of the page displays all of the widgets available for you to choose. These widgets are the only ones that you can access. On the right side of the page you'll find the widget sections. The sections control areas such as the header, sidebar, and footer. Adding widgets to these sections controls the appearance of your web page. For example, the screen shot below shows how your web site might look with the Kigo search- home page widget added to the Home quick search section.

Kigo Search - Home Page Widget

The functionality of the Widgets page is controlled by WordPress. For more information, see WordPress Widgets in the WordPress codex.

You can also add, arrange, and remove widgets from the home page blocks (for example, sidebar, top, bottom, header, or footer), and from the sidebar in the Search results page, the Property details page, "other" page templates, and "content" page templates.
