Location: Websites – (Web site name) – Edit – Pages – All Pages

Required Setup: In order to view this page, you must be assigned the role of General Manager, Marketing Manager, or a custom role that includes the Solution permission.

Scope: This feature is available for Kigo Plan 2 and above.

About the Pages Page

The Pages page provides a list of all the pages in your web site. From this page, you can edit many the web site's default pages to personalize the content.

You cannot edit pages with dynamic driven data that synchronize with Kigo. This includes but is not limited to the Rentals, Specials, Attractions, and Booking pages. If you cannot edit a page the message "This page is synchronized with Kigo. All editing has been disabled."

Page Wireframes

The pages use a predefined arrangement of widgets to help you get started with your web sites. You can change the arrangement of the widgets if needed. Make sure you are careful when you do this, as placing a widget in an area where it is not valid can break the layout of your web page.

Examples of predefined page layouts follow.

Home Page

The example below shows the wireframe for Home page (Theme01), as well as an example of a Kigo Websites page using this wireframe. You can add many different widgets to the Home page, including but not limited to:

  • Property finders
  • Featured properties
  • Blog feed
  • Weather widget

    The featured properties on this page are shuffled, and you cannot set them manually.

Kigo Websites Home Page Example

This Home page example includes the following:

  1. Header: This is your web sites header. It is defined with the Kigo header widget.
  2. Slideshow: This is the slideshow for the web site. Use the Slideshow setup page to define the content of the slideshow.
  3. Sidebar: This is the web site's sidebar. The sidebar content depends on which widgets are added to the Kigo right sidebar property details and the Kigo right sidebar property details sections. The sidebar is not always a part of the Home page.
  4. Property finders: This shows predefined searches that can help prospective guests quickly find specific types of properties.You may define the properties from the Property finders section.
  5. Content: This includes information about your web page.
  6. Footer: The footer includes additional information about the web page that is common to all pages. It is defined by the Kigo footer widget.

The example below shows the wireframe for the Search results page, as well as an example of a Kigo Websites page using this wireframe. If you are using the Kigo Discovery theme, the Search results page has a different layout than the one shown below.

This Search results page example includes the following:

  1. Header: This is your web sites header. It is defined with the Kigo header widget.
  2. Sidebar: This is the web site's sidebar. The sidebar content depends on which widgets are added to the Kigo left sidebar property details and the Kigo right sidebar property details sections. The sidebar includes but is not limited to the Revise search widget, the Have a question? inquiry form, and the Similar properties widget.
  3. Content: This includes information about your web page. It is defined by the Content widget.
  4. Footer: The footer includes additional information about the web page that is common to all pages. It is defined by the Kigo footer widget.

The example below shows the wireframe for Property details page, as well as an example of a Kigo Websites page using this wireframe. If you are using the Kigo Discovery theme, the Property details page has a different layout than the one shown below.

Property Details Page Example

The Property details page includes the following:

  1. Photo gallery: The photo gallery contains all images entered into Kigo and the captions for these images.
  2. Tabs: The tabs on this page include General, Rates & availability, Amenities, Attractions, and Reviews. The General tab includes the property details and a text description.
  3. Sidebar: This is the web site's sidebar. The sidebar content depends on which widgets are added to the Kigo left sidebar property details and the Kigo right sidebar property details sections. The sidebar includes but is not limited to the Revise search widget, the Have a question? inquiry form, and the Similar properties widget.
  4. Header: This is your web sites header. It is defined with the Kigo header widget.
  5. Footer: The footer includes additional information about the web page that is common to all pages. It is defined by the Kigo footer widget.

Viewing Pages

  1. Use the available search features to locate the page.
  2. Hover over the page and click the View link that appears. The page appears on the same tab.

Editing Pages

  1. Use the search features to locate the page.
  2. Click the page title. The Edit page page appears.
  3. Type a new title into the (Title) field, if necessary.
  4. Click the Add media button and select any images you want on the screen. Refer to Inserting Media into Posts and Pages in the WordPress codex for additional information.
  5. Enter your text in the (Page) field.
  6. Use the toolbar to apply styles and formatting to the text.
  7. Add comments in the Comments section.
  8. Click the Text tab and modify the HTML content, if necessary.
  9. Add google adwords and SEO attributes in the SEO attributes section. Contact your Account Manager for additional information about the SEO options offered.
  10. If you want to customize your browser tab title, add an SEO title in the SEO title field and select the Use custom page title (SEO title) option in the Custom options section.
  11. Click the Update button.
