About Kigo Websites

Kigo web sites are high-performing web sites that are fully integrated with Kigo's reservation software. To get started with a Kigo web site, you must register for a domain name and ask your account manager to create the web site. The Kigo Websites feature is only available from the Kigo application once an account manager has set it up.

The Kigo Websites feature lets you manage the content and appearance of your vacation rental web sites using WordPress tools and a Kigo WordPress plug-in. You can choose your own domain name and access multiple web sites from the same account. This feature includes the following:

  • Web site templates
  • Custom web site design options
  • Kigo booking widgets
  • Content management system
  • Digital marketing services
  • Configurable availability searches for end-users
  • Interactive photo gallery

Remember that the majority of your web site's content comes from the Kigo application itself. Keep your property data score high to get the most out of your Kigo web site.

Registering for a Domain Name

In order to display your Kigo web site, you must register the domain name that you'd like to use with a domain registrar. There are many different domain registration companies available. Some popular examples include GoDaddy®, Domain.com©, Tucows©, and Network Solutions®. We do not recommend any specific domain registrar, and you should be able to use any reputable domain registration company for your Kigo web site.

While you can start customizing your Kigo web site without securing a domain name first, we recommend that this step is performed early in the process to ensure that you can purchase the domain name that you desire.

To register for a domain name, follow the instructions provided by your chosen domain registration company.
