Required Setup: All roles can view this page. However, the content of the page varies depending on the role.

Scope: This feature is available in all versions of Kigo.

About the Home Page

The Home page is the first page that appears after you log on to Kigo. It is designed based on your role to guide you to the pages and information you are most likely to need to use. The example below shows the Home page for the General Manager role. Your page may look different than this example depending on your role.

Kigo Home Page

  1. The Tools & actions section provides links to the pages most relevant to your role.
  2. The Kigo app store section provides a link to the Kigo app store, where you can select Kigo value-added services, third-party services, and Kigo professional services for your solution. This section is available only if you have the General Manager role.
  3. The Kigo University section provides information about the Kigo University. It provides a link to the Kigo University - Live Trainings web page, where you can view and register for Kigo training.
  4. The Kigo news section provides important notices, system messages, and other news. Clicking a link in this section takes you to the news article on a new tab.

Field Definitions

System Message

  • (Message): Click this link to open the news article about an important system issue. Click the X on the right-hand side of the box to dismiss the message. The link to the news article is also available in the Kigo news section.

Tools and Actions

  • My profile: Click this link to display the My profile page. From the My profile page you can manage your preferences for your user profile. The link to this page is available to the General Manager.
  • Reports: Click this link to display the Reports page. From the reports page you can run booking reports, lead reports, accounting reports, property reports, system reports, and cleaning reports. The link to this page is available to the General Manager, Marketing Manager, Book Keeping, Booking Manager, and Maintenance Staff roles.
  • Calendar: Click this link to display the Calendar page. You can use the Calendar page to view the availability for your properties. The link to this page is available to the Marketing Manager and Booking Agent roles.
  • All bookings: Click this link to display the Booking summary page. You can use the Booking summary page to access existing bookings and create new bookings. The link to this page is available to the Marketing Manager and Booking Agent roles.
  • Register: Click this link to display the Register page. You can use the Register page to view a ledger containing entries for accounting events such as invoices and payments. The link to this page is available to the Book Keeping role.
  • Invoices due: Click this link to display the Invoices due page. You can use the Invoices due page to view a ledger with the records for all invoices that are currently due. The link to this page is available to the Book Keeping role.
  • Payments: Click this link to display the Payments page. You can use the Payments page to view all payments received for bookings, as well as refund records. The link to this page is available to the Book Keeping role.
  • Commission statements: Click this link to display the Commission statements page. You can use the Commission statements page to manage existing management commissions and create new management commissions. The link to this page is available to the Book Keeping role.
  • Specials: Click this link to display the Specials page. You can use the Specials page to view and make changes to existing specials. The link to this page is available to Booking Manager role.
  • Rates & availability: Click this link to display the Rates & availability page. You can use the Rates & availability page to create, update, and copy rates. The link to this page is available to the Booking Manager role.
  • Take a call: Click this link to display the Take a call page. The link to this page is available to the Booking Agent role.
  • Lead requests: Click this link to display the Lead requests page. You can use the Lead requests page to create new lead requests, convert lead requests to bookings, record call information, defer lead requests, and discard lead requests. The link to this page is available to the Booking Agent role.
  • Maintenance tasks: Click this link to display the Maintenance tasks page. You can use the Maintenance tasks page to add new maintenance tasks, add new cleaning tasks, and view the maintenance task records. The link to this page is available to the Front Desk and Maintenance Staff roles.
  • Today's check ins: Click this link to view the Today's check-ins page. You can use the Today's check-ins page to view the check-ins for the current day. The link to this page is available to the Front Desk role.
  • Today's check outs: Click this link to view the Today's check-outs page. You can use the Today's check-outs page to view the check-outs for the current day. The link to this page is available to the Front Desk role.
  • Tape chart: Click this link to view the Calendar page. You can use the Calendar page to view the availability for your properties. The link to this page is available to the Front Desk role.
  • Unit cleaning status: Click this link to view the Unit cleaning status page. You can use the Unit cleaning status page to quickly view which units need to be cleaned. The link to this page is available to the Maintenance Staff role.
  • Vendors: Click this link to view the Vendors page. You can use the Vendors page to view vendor accounts, add new cleaners, and add new maintenance accounts. The link to this page is available to the Maintenance Staff role.
  • My properties: Click this link to view the My properties page. You can use this page to view your properties. The link to this page is available to the Owner role.
  • My bookings: Click this link to view the My bookings page. You can use this page to view your bookings. The link to this page is available to the Owner role.
  • New owner booking: Click this link to view the Owner booking page. You can use this page to create new owner bookings or make changes to existing owner bookings. The link to this page is available to the Owner role.
  • My statements: Click this link to view the My statements page. You can use this page to view your statements. The link to this page is available to the Owner role.

Kigo App Store

  • Visit the Kigo app store: Click this link to view the App store page. You can use this page to select Kigo value-added services, third-party services, and Kigo professional services for your solution. This option is only available if you have the General Manager role.

Kigo University

  • Request Kigo University schedule: Click this link to open the Kigo University - Live Trainings web site, where you can view and register for Kigo training.

Kigo News

  • (Title): This is the unique title for the Kigo news item. It provides a high-level explanation of the information. For example, "Kigo Sites Maintenance 05/14/2015."
