Location: Websites – (Web site name) – Edit – Kigo – General

Required Setup: In order to view this page, you must be assigned the role of General Manager, Marketing Manager, or a custom role that includes the Solution permission.

Scope: This feature is available for Kigo Plan 2 and above.

About the General Page

The General page provides useful information about your web site.

You can use the General page to identify your application programming interface (API) key. Your web site must have an API key to connect to the Kigo application. If you do not see an API key on this page, then your web site is not connected correctly. Contact Kigo support (support@kigo.net) for assistance with your API key.

The General page also provides you with the last data and search engine optimization (SEO) synchronizations occurred. The synchronization with Kigo should happen hourly for your web site to have the most current data and SEO information. Additionally, on this page you can see your site live date and the primary language for your web site.

Field Definitions

  • Site live: This indicates whether your web site is live. This field is currently not active.
  • API key: This is the API key code for your Kigo web site. If you do not yet have an API key, contact Kigo Support (support@kigo.net).
  • Language: This is your web site's default language. This field is currently not active.
  • Solution data last sync: This is the last time a successful data synchronization was completed. It includes the day of the week, the date, and the time of the synchronization. The synchronization with your web site should happen hourly so that your web site has the most current solution data. If this synchronization did not occur within the last hour, contact Kigo Support (support@kigo.net).
  • SEO last sync: This is the last time a search engine optimization was completed. It includes the day of the week, the date, and the time of the synchronization. The synchronization with your web site should happen hourly so that your web site has the most current SEO data. If this synchronization did not occur within the last hour, contact Kigo Support (support@kigo.net).
